MOTU Classics Standor Hi-Res images from SDCC

Alongside He-Man.org, we present to you a gallery of Hi-Res, up close photos of all of the upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics figures revealed at San Diego Comic Con!

Next up is a look at a special November release: Standor! This figure is the result of a new partnership between Mattel and Stan Lee’s POW! Entertainment, and will only be available at his ComiKaze event. This is not part of the Club Eternia subscription.

      Basically, it just boils down to a corporate partnership thing. Mattel formed some sort of partnership with Stan’s POW! Entertainment. To commemorate, Mattel wanted to release some sort of Stan figure, and the POW! people wanted something to sell at their convention. Mattel sent the order down to Scott to add Stan to the MOTU line and threw some money at him for it, and Standor was born.

      It’s out of the sub and on the POW! Entertainment budget, made just for them to sell at their convention. Business! 🙂
